  Yes all the family members suffers because of their selfishness.Pity on Gobi he sacrifice a lot and no body appreciate it.He loves Malar from beginning but other family members never ask his wish and just think about their interest…Maha than Vanitha.Marriage became like bussiness.Marriage must blossom with love not through force.We are not animal Mr.Pathma and Miss Eswari.Gobi is not a dog.He is a human and got feelings too.All the problem arise because of Gobi’s mother and his sitti.Women must learn to be women and not like tugs.Sockalingam is a great gentlemen but his wife is totally opposite.Problem starts from them actually.

  Jagannathan is indeed a good father. Though he projects his anger in words, his mind is full of love for his daughter. Malar -” you have forgotten the day (perhaps you were too young to remember) the day when your dear father took you to the pre nursery and put his signature for your admission.”
  He is not talking about the sari you are wearing but the sacrifices and love which he poured on you when you were growing. Can you return this back ? You may say it was his duty. But what about your duty to your father. You can run away with someone you love without his permission. Damn it. Girls are Paraya Dhan (Someone’s property) But not, till your father gives your hand to someone. A Good lesson Thiru has given.

  I like venkat’s comment. But only one correction,Girls are not a property.. they are human beings.Like a boy even girls have feelings.. I have the seen the malar’s father role many times.. he is indeed an understanding father.It is rare to find such a father in this country. She would have told her real feelings to his father and got his willingness and support.This is the only thing which disturbs me in this serial
